Chiropractic treatment

1/4

The practitioner's trained eyes and sensitive hands aim to correct joint misalignment and balance musculature. Exercises, cold and/or hot application; specific joint supports are prescribed for wrists, elbows, knees and ankles, and orthotic supports for the shoes, to aid the treatment. Advice may be given on nutrition, posture, shoes, sports and gym equipment, chairs, computer workstations and beds at home.

Chiropractic treatment consists of specific correction or adjustment of any misalligned joints to restore normal function, balancing of the musculature does not include the use of drugs or surgery. However, where the need for surgery is indicated we will communicate with your GP and consultant and continue to provide chiropractic care before and after surgery.
