Exercises ~ Shoulders, Walking Part two

Shoulder rotation in opposite directions - Start with arms stretched in front of you with palms facing each other, one up & the other down. Start rotating your arms in opposite directions, one going forward & above your head, whilst the other going down & behind your back, both coming to meet each other in front of you to brush each other. Walk as you do this movements 10x one direction & then reverse to do 10x

Shoulder rotation- Front Crawl. Start with arms stretched in front of you at shoulder height, with palms facing down, Drop your right arm & bring it behind you & when it is in line with your left arm, start moving your left arm, simulating a swimming front crawl (free style). Do 20 strokes

Shoulder rotation- Back Crawl. Start with arms stretched in front of you at shoulder height, with palms facing UP, Lift your right arm & bring it behind you & when it is in line with your left arm, start moving your left arm, simulating a swimming back crawl. Do 20 strokes

Shoulder rotation- Butterfly. Start with both arms stretched in front of you hanging down with palms facing forward, Move them both behind you, breathing in as the arms reach above your head, bring the shoulders close to your ears, so they brush against them and breath out as they come forwards & drop down again. Continue the movement, simulating a butterfly stroke. Repeat 20 strokes

Be mindful of your breath, brushing the shoulders against your ears and stretching your back

Shoulder rotation- 'Backward Butterfly'. Start with both arms stretched in front of you hanging down with palms facing forward, Move them both in front and above your head, breathing in; bring the shoulders close to your ears, so they brush against them and breath out as they come behind & drop down again. Continue the movement, simulating what could be a 'backward butterfly' stroke!. Repeat 20 strokes

Be mindful of your breath & brushing the shoulders against your ears and stretching your back
