Born in 1967 in the Netherlands, spending his formative years between The Netherlands and Kuwait, through which he developed an interest in other cultures. Through martial arts he developed an early interest in Eastern philosophy and medicine, which would go on to be an influence throughout his life.
Graduating in 1993 in Physiotherapy in the Netherlands, Manfred moved to England in 1995, and worked in various parts of the South East, but never felt settled.
In 1997 he discovered Dorset, and this led him on another journey, which saw him studying again. He became interested in a body work called Zero Balancing, which influenced the way he treated and worked as a Physiotherapist. He went to India and studied an intensive Reiki Masters’ course, and from that returned to England, to go on to study Counselling and obtained a BACP certificate in Advanced Therapeutic Counselling.
In recent years Manfred completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture, and is currently working towards his Masters.
