Yoon was born in South Korea. His father, who is still a practicing Doctor, encouraged him to study medicine. He studied in China at the University of Guangzhou for five years to obtain a Bachelor of Medicine & Diploma TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and became a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which encompasses Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Furthermore, he completed a fellowship of Internal Medicine, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in Heilongjiang Hospital in China.

He returned to South Korea and worked as Head of Herbal Medicine at a laboratory and practised as Acupuncturist and Herbal Medicine practitioner in Inshim Hospital in South Korea.

His desire to extend his knowledge of medicine brought him to England to study at Southampton University where he gained a Certificate in Complimentary Medicine. He also completed a five year course at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in the U.K. and obtained a Bachelor of Neuromusculoskeletal Sciences followed by a one-year post graduate course leading to the award of Master of Chiropractic.

His practice focuses on a holistic approach together with the latest scientific research data. He has a wide and deep knowledge of complimentary and orthodox medicine which can help treat a variety of conditions to ensure your well-being.

Moreover, he is interested in Tai Chi and Qigong. He studied and trained in them at the Chinese Institute of Qigong Scientific Research for a year, and become a Tai Chi & Qigong Master and holds certificates in Chinese Qigong and Tai Chi. He is also keen on sport, especially skiing, snowboarding and scuba diving. He holds an Instructor's Licence in all these activities.

He also likes languages, and in addition to his native Korean he is fluent in Chinese, Mandarin, Japanese and English.
