The family had to leave Uganda during the exodus in 1972. He came to UK with his elderly parents and his two older brothers.
After a period of unsettled life, his interest in health was rekindled through plants. He studied horticulture in 1976, at the Isle of Isly college of horticulture in Wisbech (Cambs) with particular interest in Organic gardening.
He then enrolled to study Herbal medicine but this was soon replaced by a fulltime and a more demanding study of Chiropractic: in 1978 he started his study in Chiropractic at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, where he graduated in 1982. Soon after he also became a father and realised the need to provide his children with natural health care.
Realising the limits of Chiropractic alone, he pursued his study in Homeopathy under the guidance of the world renowned Homeopath, George Vitoulkas and later has studied under many world class teachers and now has commited to learning under the guidance of Rajan Shankran at the Other Song Academy in Mumbai, India; where he visits regularly
In 1986, he began his study in CranioSacral Therapy and in 1992 he began his studies with the Upledger Institute and Hugh Milne, with whom he still continues his studies. Over the past 30years he has developed a family clinic offering Natural health care using his combined disciplines of CranioSacral Therapy, Homeopathy and Chiropractic; in addition he has a number of well qualified and experienced therapists and teachers who also offer services that complement and support each other.
He is not opposed to conventional medicine and recognises its place in health care. He works together with GPs , medical consultants and practitioners of alternative/complementary medicine and refers patients for appropriate examinations and treatment when necessary. He often takes time to observe surgery so as keep up with the advances in medicine and therefore able to advice his patients when surgery is needed, to prepare them and provide rehabilitation care after surgey. He treats every patient as if they were part of his family. Exploring ancient medicine and bringing it to the present has become his passion.
He is a father of four boys (Adam, Luke, Ruben & Akash) and a proud grandfather of a beautiful girl (Maya) !
HIs interests are being with this family, gardening, walking, listening & playing music, sports, languages, travelling, cooking and sharing stories.
He feels that his most important teachers have been his parents, children(his own and and those who come for treatment), his patients and nature. He follows a strict vegetarian diet and believes that food, together with music, laughter, walking and working with nature is our best medicine.....
